Drain
WARNING: Do not smoke or walk with a lit cigarette or any type of open flame while working on or near fuel related components. In such situations, there are always highly flammable mixtures that can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.
WARNING: After the ignition is switched off, the fuel supply system remains pressurized for an extended period of time. Relieve fuel pressure before starting any repair. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.
1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. Remove the filler cap.

NOTE: In order for the hose to be inserted into the fuel tank, a 40 mm cone must be cut off at the end of the hose.
Drain fuel from the fuel tank using a 12.5 mm nylon drain hose and a Ford approved fuel disposal tank.
