Withdrawal
CAUTION: Do not attempt to clean the throttle body. The bore and throttle valve have a special coating applied at the factory that must not be removed.
1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. See Section 414-01 for more information.
2. Disconnect the shift cable (in the presence of).
- 1. Disconnect the cable from the throttle body.
- 2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
- 1. Remove the clip and disconnect the inner cable from the throttle body.
- 2. Rotate the outer sheath of the cable.
- 3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.
4. Disconnect the air filter outlet pipe.
5. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connectors (TP) (for clarity, the air intake housing is shown removed).
6. Remove the throttle body.
7. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket as no longer needed.
Installation

NOTE: Install a new throttle body gasket.
Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
