IB5 shift cable adjustment

General equipment: Drill with a diameter of 3 mm.

1. Move the gearshift mechanism to neutral position.

2. Release the shift lever cover.

NOTE: Insert the drill correctly.

Insert a 3 mm drill.



4. Raise the car. See Section 100-02 for more information.

5. Open the shift and select cable cover.



6. Adjust the shift mechanism.

• 1. Unlock the selector cable (press color insert).
• 2. Move the select lever to the center position.

7. Adjust the shift mechanism (continuation).

• 1. Engage 3rd or 4th gear (move the gear lever to the extreme right or left position).
• 2. Block the gear selection cable.

8. Close the shift and select cable cover.



9. Lower the car.

10. Remove the drill.

11. Fix a cover of the lever of a gear change.
