Withdrawal

1. Standard preparatory operations:

• Note the key code of the audio system.
• Check the preset radio stations.

WARNING: Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with skin or eyes. If brake fluid comes into contact with the skin or eyes, immediately flush the affected area with water. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

CAUTION: If brake fluid comes into contact with the paintwork, immediately wash the affected area with water.

CAUTION: Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Empty the brake reservoir.

3. Remove the air filter.

• 1. Disconnect the inlet hose.
• 2. Disconnect the plug connector of the mass air flow sensor (MAF).
• 3. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose.

4. Disconnect the central electrical box (CJB). Screw left, clamp right

CAUTION: Brake fluid leakage. Observe precautions for handling brake fluid.

Disconnect the pipes from the clutch master cylinder.

• 1. Remove clips.
• 2. Remove the high pressure line from the bracket.

6. Remove the bottom cover of the instrument panel (four screws) and insulating panel of the footwell (clamps).



7. Remove the clutch master cylinder.

• 1. Remove the clip.
• 2. Turn out bolts.
• 3. Release the clutch master cylinder from the pedal support.
• 4. Disconnect the piston rod from the clutch pedal.

Installation

1. Install the clutch master cylinder.

• 1. Connect the piston rod to the clutch pedal.
• 2. Attach the clutch master cylinder to the pedal support.
• 3. Insert clip.
• 4. Tighten the bolts.

NOTE: Make sure the high pressure line is secure.

Connect the lines to the clutch master cylinder.

• 1. Insert clamps.
• 2. Insert the high pressure line into the bracket.

3. Install the instrument panel lower cover and the insulating foot panel.



4. Connect the central electrical box (CJB). Screw left, clamp right




5. Install the air filter.

• 1. Install the inlet hose.
• 2. Connect the MAF sensor connector.
• 3. Connect the PCV hose.

6. Fill the tank. The reservoir must be filled with Super DOT 4 brake fluid.

7. Clutch Actuator - Bleeding. Refer to Section 308-00 for more information.

8. Standard finishing operations:

• Connect ground wire to battery.
• Enter the radio key code.
• Reprogram preset radios.
• Set your clock.
• Perform a road test to allow the PCM to collect data.
