Removal



1. Loosen the rear wheel mounting nuts.

2. Raise and secure the rear of the vehicle, remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove the brake drum clamps from the wheel bolts (if present) after loosening them with a chisel (turn to the left).

4. Check if the handbrake is released.

5. Remove the brake drum from the wheel hub.

Installation

1. Check the brake drum for damage and wear, and whether the working surface of the drum has any dents that can be felt with your fingers. If necessary, regrind the drum or replace it.

2. Clean the inside of the mechanism by blowing it with compressed air.

3. Install the brake drum on the wheel hub flange.

4. Install the rear wheel.

5. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts to the appropriate torque.
