Replacing the front caliper (Sierra)

Removal

1. Remove the brake pads (see subsection 10.2.1).

2. Disconnect the flexible brake hose connection from the caliper and plug the connection holes with appropriate plugs.

3. Unscrew the bolts securing the caliper holder to the wheel steering knuckle.

4. Remove the caliper holder and the caliper itself.

Installation

1. Screw the caliper holder to the wheel knuckle.

2. Connect the brake hose connection to the caliper.

3. Install the brake pads.

4. Bleed the brake system (see subsection 10.5).
