Front Caliper Repair (Sierra)

1. Remove the caliper (see subsection 10.2.2).

2. Push out the piston using compressed air supplied through the brake fluid supply hole to the caliper, after installing a safety wooden block in the caliper.

3. Remove the protective elastic cover and piston gasket.

4. Wash the piston and cylinder with alcohol or brake fluid.

5. Install a new gasket and protective cover on the piston.

6. Lubricate the piston with special grease.

7. Insert the piston into the cylinder in the caliper and install the housing.

8. Install the brake caliper (see subsection 10.2.2).
