Master cylinder and brake booster
1 – master cylinder body, 2 – brake fluid reservoir, 3 – gaskets, 4 – retaining ring, 5 – vacuum booster, 6 – rod, 7 – vacuum booster, 8 – rod, 9 – vacuum line
Removal
1. Remove as much brake fluid as possible from the reservoir, for example using a syringe.
2. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the master brake cylinder.
3. Disconnect the vacuum booster from the master brake cylinder after unscrewing the two mounting nuts.
4. Remove the master brake cylinder.
Installation
1. Remove as much brake fluid as possible from the reservoir, for example using a syringe.
2. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the master brake cylinder.
3. Disconnect the vacuum booster from the master brake cylinder after unscrewing the two mounting nuts.
4. Remove the master brake cylinder.
