Master brake cylinder

Withdrawal



1. Remove the brake fluid from the reservoir with a syringe.

2. Unscrew the nuts securing the pipelines to the main brake cylinder, remove the pipelines and plug them with plugs.

3. Disconnect the connector from the brake fluid level sensor and remove the reservoir cap.

4. Remove the lock that secures the brake pedal to the pushrod.

5. In the engine compartment, unscrew the bolts securing the brake master cylinder to the body and remove it.

Disassembly



1. Remove reservoir and grommets from brake master cylinder.

2. Remove the set screw from the brake master cylinder.

3. Remove the cover by moving it along the pusher.

4. Remove retaining ring.

5. Remove pusher.

6. Remove the first piston assembly from the brake master cylinder.


7. Remove the second piston assembly, for which it is necessary to hit the master brake cylinder on the board until the piston exits.

8. Disassemble the first piston by unscrewing the bolt and removing the cup, spring, spring plate, o-ring, thrust washer and second o-ring.

9. Disassemble the second piston in the same way as the first.

10. Replace all o-rings.

11. Wash all parts of the master cylinder in brake fluid.

Assembly



1. Assemble the pistons, paying attention to the correct installation of the sealing rings.

2. Dip pistons in brake fluid and insert into cylinder.

3. Install the brake pedal tappet and secure it with the circlip.

4. Press the pusher and screw in the set screw.

5. Install sealing sleeves and reservoir on the master brake cylinder.

6. Pour a little brake fluid into the reservoir and press the pusher several times to bring the brake master cylinder into working condition.

Installation



1. Installation of the main brake cylinder is made in sequence, return to removal.

2. Remove air from the brake system.
