Disconnect the main fluid level sensor connector and...
...and unscrew the shut-off cap from the tank. Once removed, do not turn it over. This may damage the electrical contacts.
Suck out the brake fluid from the expansion tank using a pipette or syringe.
Carefully remove the empty reservoir from the master cylinder by hand.
Before installing the new reservoir, insert new sealing rings into the master cylinder bores. Lightly moisten these rings with fresh brake fluid beforehand.
Carefully press the new tank into the sealing rings. The tank should audibly lock into place. Then pour in the fluid.
Screw on the locking cap and check the operation of the warning light switch by pressing on the elastic middle of the cap.
Bleed the brake system.
Working together: two brake pistons work in tandem with the master brake cylinder.
