Withdrawal

1. Loosen the wheel bolts, raise the vehicle, unscrew the bolts and remove the wheels.

2. Unscrew the brake hose and close its hole with a plug.

3. If there is a brake pad wear indicator, disconnect the connector from the caliper.

4. Unscrew two screws (indicated by arrows) caliper mounting and remove it.

5. unscrew the bolt (indicated by an arrow) mounting the brake disc and remove the disc from the hub.

6. If it is required to remove only the brake disc, do not unscrew the brake hose, but hang the removed caliper with a wire on the suspension strut.

Disassembly

1. Remove the dust cap of the piston and, while supplying air under pressure through the brake fluid inlet, squeeze out the piston.

2. Remove the piston seal from the groove in the cylinder.

3. Rinse all parts with clean brake fluid. Never use other liquids.

4. When assembling, insert a new O-ring into the cylinder, dip the piston into the brake fluid and, being careful, insert the piston into the cylinder.

5. Install the dust cap between the piston and cylinder and push the piston into the cylinder as far as it will go.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. If the brake hose was removed, be sure to bleed the air from the brake system.
