Working brake cylinder
1 – dust cap; 2 – bleed nipple; 3 – brake cylinder housing; 4 – dust cap; 5 – piston; 6 – sealing ring; 7 – spring
1. Remove the rear brake pads.
2. Unscrew the brake line from the working brake cylinder and plug it with a plug.
3. Unscrew the two bolts (indicated by arrows) at the rear of the brake shield and remove the brake cylinder together with the gasket.
4. Remove the dust caps and remove the pistons from the brake cylinders.
5. Wash all parts with brake fluid.
6. Install new sealing rings on the pistons and, after dipping one piston in brake fluid, insert it into the cylinder and install the dust cap.
7. Insert the spring, piston and dust cap into the back of the cylinder.
8. Screw the wheel cylinder to the brake shield.
9. Screw on the brake pipe.
10. Install the brake pads.
11. Remove air from the brake system.
