Withdrawal
Disconnect ground wire (-) battery.
Attention. Disconnecting the battery erases the contents of the electronic memories, such as engine trouble codes or radio codes. Before switching off, also read the instructions in chapter "Removing and installing the battery".
Disconnect the multi-pin plug next to the headlight cover. Disconnect the plug at the headlight beam height adjustment actuator (if available).
Remove turn signal light see p. 170.
Remove the grille, see p. 130.
Unscrew the bolts of the upper and rear brackets -A, C-.
Loosen side mounting bolt only, do not unscrew.
Pull the headlight forward and take it out to the side.
Installation
If a new headlight is installed, then the side mounting bolt must be rearranged on it.
Connect the headlamp multi-pin connector.
Faro insert. To do this, slide the support pins from the outside of the headlight housing into the bulkhead from the side. Tilt headlight inward towards holder and align. Tighten the side bolt.
Attach to the holders and tighten the upper and rear mounting bolts.
Install turn signal light see p. 170.
Install the radiator grille see p. 130.
Connect ground wire to battery (-).
If available, set the clock and enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
Check the operation of the headlights.
Carry out headlight adjustment at the workshop.
