Removal and installation the radiator grille (Scorpio I) (Scorpio 2)

Removal

Open the engine compartment hood.

Remove the turn signal lights, see p. 172.

If present, remove the headlight lens wiper blades and detach the washer fluid supply hose.

Release the clamps of the side parts of the radiator grille through the holes for the turn signal lights.



Unscrew both "arrow" bolts securing the grille and release the grille latches.



Using a screwdriver, push out the clips on the side parts of the grille (two on each side) with a forward movement.

Pull the central part of the grille together with its side parts out from under the headlight washers and remove.



To remove the side parts from the central part of the grille, fold the latches upwards and remove the side parts.

Installation

Place both side parts on the central part of the grille and secure with latches.

Align the assembled grille and secure it with clamps.

Secure the central part of the grille with latches and bolts.

Insert the ends of the side pieces and install the turn signal lights.

If available, install the headlight lens wiper blades.

Close the engine compartment hood.
