Front bumper adjustment (Scorpio I)

Joint gap check

On each side, measure the gap -X- between the lower edge of the fender or extension of the front grille and the upper edge of the bumper in at least two places. The prescribed value is 7 mm.

If the gap on the right or left is not the same or incorrect, the bumper should be adjusted.

Bumper adjustment

Using a socket wrench, loosen the mounting bolts about half a turn.



Using a 24 mm socket wrench, use the adjusting bolts to adjust the height of the bumper.

Move the bumper with the adjusting bolts until the gap on both sides reaches the prescribed value.

Tighten the bumper bolts with a socket wrench to 20 Nm.
