Dismantling and installation of the bumper cover (front)

PROCEDURE
  1. Raise and secure the front of the car and remove the grille (attachment points are indicated by arrows).


    Removing the grille.
  2. If your Mondeo has a headlight washer system, remove the nozzle covers.
  3. Dismantle further the lower protective grille (screws are indicated by arrows).


    Unscrew the eleven screws and remove the lower protective grille.
  4. Disconnect the plug of the outside temperature signal lamp and fog lamp (if mounted).
  5. Unscrew the splash protection bumper cover in both wheel arches (places are indicated by arrows) and then…


    Unscrew the buffer cap from the splash guard.
  6. ... in both niches, remove the bumper cover from the wings (screws are indicated by arrows).


    Unscrew the bumper cover from both fenders.
  7. After you unscrew all the screws, separate the cover from the buffer by moving forward.
  8. Carry out installation in reverse order. Naturally, before finally fixing the cover on the wings, align it in height and sides.
