Dismantling and installation of the rear door lock

Since the installation procedure in all models is approximately identical, we will give here a description of this process for a model with a sedan body

PROCEDURE

Disconnect the battery. Then unscrew the two screws on the front cover of the lock and remove the cover. Release the eleven clips of the rear door trim and remove «cardboard». Unscrew the back cover of the lock and remove it. Unscrew now touch opener (2 nuts) on top of the trunk lid, remove the control wire from the fasteners and disconnect the multi-pin connector of the remote unlocking device from the lock. Unscrew the two screws and pull out the entire lock from the trunk lid. Carry out installation in reverse order. If necessary, adjust the cover as described above.
