Removing and installing the rear door lock (Mondeo 3)

ORDER OF EXECUTION

Disconnect the battery. Then unscrew the two screws of the front cover of the lock and remove the cover. Release the eleven rear door trim clips and remove the "cardboard". Unscrew the back cover of the lock and remove it. Now unscrew the sensor opener (2 nuts) at the top of the trunk lid, remove the control wire from the fasteners and disconnect the multi-pin connector of the remote unlocking device from the lock. Remove the two screws and pull the entire lock out of the trunk lid. Carry out the installation in the reverse order. If necessary, adjust the cover as described above.
