SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. Remove the door trim.
2. Remove the lower glass guide and disconnect the rod from the door lock cylinder.

3. For models with anti-theft alarm, disconnect the contact connector from the switch and remove the switch (Fig. 16.30).
4. Carefully rotate the lock cylinder retaining ring to a position that releases the lock cylinder mounting tabs. Remove the ring and washer from the door.
5. Remove the lock cylinder from the outside of the door.
6. Insert the new lock cylinder with a new gasket into the door.
7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
