Removal



1. Unscrew one bumper retaining bolt under each wheel arch (see Figure 25.1).

2. Remove the front license plate from the bumper.

3. Using a pry bar, release the plastic covers of the bumper retaining screws, then unscrew the screws. Remove the bumper (see Figure 25.3, a-c).

Installation



4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Align the bumper correctly before tightening the screws completely.

Removal



5. Remove the side fixtures and fasteners from under the front wheel arches to the front panel and fenders.

6. Using a pry bar, release the plastic covers of the external attachment components on each side of the bumper, then unscrew the retaining screws.

7. If necessary, remove the front license plate for better access, then unscrew the two center retaining screws.

8. Pull the bumper towards you to release the side brackets and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation



9. Install in the reverse order of removal. Align the bumper correctly before tightening the screws completely.
