Removal and installation
Cars manufactured before the end of 1985
1. Remove the radiator grille.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the bumper longitudinal beam and remove the bumper by sliding it forward, while simultaneously releasing it from the side fasteners. If the side fastener is damaged, turn it 90°, remove it and install a new clamp.
3. Remove the decorative side trim from the bumper by unscrewing its mounting tabs. After this, it is necessary to install a new decorative trim.
4. Remove the fang from the bumper by unscrewing the mounting screw from the bottom of the fang.
5. Remove the bumper trim by squeezing the jaws of the fastening clamps on the inside of the bumper.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Cars manufactured since 1986
1. Unscrew the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) on the front fenders and the nuts on the side members.
2. Unscrew the remaining two bumper mounting nuts from the engine compartment.
3. Remove the bumper by pulling it forward.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
