Attaching the rear bumper to the body

Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the license plate light connector.
Vehicles manufactured before the end of 1985
2. Raise the trunk lining and unscrew 2 bumper nuts on each side.
3. Remove the bumper by sliding it back, while simultaneously releasing it from the side mounts. If the side mounting is damaged, turn it by 90°, remove and install a new clip.
4. Remove bumper with brackets.
Cars made since 1986
5. Unscrew 3 fixing screws (indicated by arrows) bumper to the rear fender of the car.
6. Raise the trunk lining and unscrew 2 bumper nuts on each side.
7. Remove the bumper by sliding it back.
8. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
