Removal and installation
Vehicles manufactured before the end of 1985
1. Install both control knobs up to the stop.
2. Remove the fan switch by prying it out with a screwdriver.
3. Lift the lower part of the panel up, pull it towards you and disengage the upper part.
4. Unscrew the screws and remove the control mechanism.
Cars made since 1986
1. Remove the three control knobs.
2. Unscrew two screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the panel, removing first the lower part, and then the upper one.
3. Disconnect the panel illumination wire connector.
