Fan motor
1 – capacitor; 2 – three-stage regulator; 3 – electric motor; 4 – brushes
Removal
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Remove the lid spring clips and the lid itself.
3. Disconnect the fan wire connector and the ground wire on the body near the heater hoses on the bulkhead in the engine compartment.
4. Unscrew the fan housing mounting nuts and remove the fan.
5. Remove the 4 spring clips that connect the fan housing.
6. Remove the resistor and remove the fan motor from the housing.
