Attaching the cable to the hood latch

Removal and installation
1. Unscrew the 3 screws on the steering column and remove the lower trim cover.
2. Unscrew the bolt and remove the hood release lever mounting bracket.
3. In the engine compartment, remove the rubber grommet from the hood lock bracket and remove the cable from it.
4. Remove the cable from the side mounts in the engine compartment.
5. Remove the cable from inside the cabin.
6. The hood opening cable is installed in the reverse order of removal.
