Attaching the cable to the hood lock

Removal and installation
1. Unscrew 3 screws on the steering column and remove the lower trim cover.
2. Unscrew the bolt and remove the hood release lever mounting bracket.
3. In the engine compartment, remove the rubber bushing from the hood lock bracket and remove the cable from it.
4. Remove the cable from the side mounts in the engine compartment.
5. Remove the cable into the passenger compartment.
6. The hood release cable is installed in the reverse order of removal.
