Removal and installation

1. Remove ground wire from battery.

2. Raise the trunk lid and secure it with a stop.

3. Disconnect the trunk lock actuator plug, remove the rubber grommet that protects the wires, tie a cord to the connector and pull the actuator out of the trunk lid cavity. Leave the cord in the trunk lid for subsequent tightening of the wires.

4. Mark the position of the boot lid hinges, unscrew the bolts and remove the boot lid.

5. Installation of a cover of a luggage carrier is made in sequence, return to removal.

Removal and installation of a gas-filled emphasis of a cover of a luggage carrier

Gas-filled boot lid stops are installed on each door hinge.

1. Raise the trunk lid and secure it with a stop.



2. Remove fixing clips (indicated by arrows) on both sides of the mounting axis of the gas-filled stop and remove it.

3. Installation of the gas-filled stop is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
