Replacement of the trunk light bulb (Fiesta 4)

The trunk light is switched on by a contact switch located behind the trunk lid trim.



SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. Using a thin screwdriver, carefully remove the lamp housing from the recess.

2. Using a needle test lamp or multimeter, check that voltage is supplied to the lamp.

3. If not, check the operation of the contact switch in the same way as the door contact switch.

4. If the switch is in good condition, turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove it from the lamp housing (Fig. 16.13).

5. Replace the trunk light bulb (5W).
