Replacement of trunk light (Focus Turnier 1)

The boot light is controlled by a contact switch behind the rear lid trim.

Carefully pry the flashlight housing out of the recess using a thin screwdriver.



Check with a test lamp or multimeter if there is voltage in the lamp.

If not, first check the operation of the contact switch (see section on door contact switch).

If the switch is OK, replace the glass base bulb (5W).
