Trunk Light Replacement

The tail light is controlled by a contact switch behind the tailgate trim.

Carefully pry the light housing out of the recess with a thin screwdriver.



Check with a test lamp or multimeter if there is voltage in the lamp.

If not, first check the function of the contact switch (see section on door contact switch).

If the switch is OK, replace the glass base lamp (5 W).
