Ignition key coding (Focus Turnier 1)

The original key codes spare keys or a maximum of eight duplicates. The system is not serviceable.

The following points must be completed within five seconds each:

Turn the original key to ignition switch position II.

Turn the original key back to position 0 and remove.

Insert the second key into the ignition switch and turn it to position II.

Turn the second key back to position 0 and remove it. The coding module is now activated. If you do the same with another uncoded key within 10 seconds, the key will also be coded.



Let the newly coded key "rest" for 5 seconds - the system must first activate.

If the coding is not successful, the indicator light above the clock will flash again. In this case, wait about 20 seconds and start the coding process again.

Ford workshops can replace the original key and erase already coded keys.
