Ignition key coding

The master key can be used to encode a spare key or a maximum of eight duplicate keys. The system does not require maintenance.

Perform the following coding steps within five seconds:

First, use the master key to turn the ignition switch to position «II» And… …then turn the master key back to position «0». Now remove the master key from the ignition switch. Insert the second key into the ignition switch and turn it to the «II». Turn the second key back into position «0» and pull it out. This activates the coding mode. At intervals of ten seconds, you can repeat this process with the next unencrypted key. «Let» newly encoded keys remain «at rest» about five seconds - that is how much time the system needs to activate the key. If the coding process has been interrupted, the control lamp above the clock starts flashing. In this case, wait about 20 seconds and repeat the process.
