Dismantling the radio receiver (Mondeo 3)

            0

The following description only refers to the Ford serial equipment. For additional installation of other radio units, you should have a kit of accessories that matches your Mondeo - problems associated with their fastening and installation are thus excluded. Detailed installation instructions are included with the kit of accessories.

ORDER OF EXECUTION

  1. Before dismantling, if there is a radio system with an anti-theft device, write down its coding number (key code).
  2. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery.
  3. Remove the radio cassette device from the safety lock only with the help of special U-shaped wire corners. To do this, insert one corner into the corresponding holes on each side. Press the corners outward evenly (this allows you to unlock the locking tabs) and pull the device out of the mounting niche on the corners. This avoids damage to the device mount.

Insert the corners into the holes, press outwards and then pull them out with the device from the mounting niche.
  4. Mark the terminals on the back of the unit and then remove the antenna wire, current-carrying wire, speaker plug connection and ground connection from their respective sockets.
  5. Perform the installation work in reverse order.

Mark the leads and remove them from their corresponding sockets.
