Fan (Mondeo 3)

In all Mondeo models, the air exchange in the passenger compartment is supported by a four-stage centrifugal fan. The fan is usually located in front of the heat exchanger, so even on winter days the passenger compartment does not "cool down". Connected resistors provide step-by-step regulation of the fan motor. At stage 4, the fan has maximum performance. Its power is high enough that, regardless of the current speed, the required volume of air is always circulated. This process, however, is also ensured for several minutes in the "Air circulation" position. The fan motor is located in the center under the dashboard in front of the front wall.
