Fan motor replacement

With a certain craft skill, you can always replace the fan motor.



PROCEDURE
  1. Release the five clips in the lower trim in the right legroom and…
  2. ... remove the rotary damper of the glove box. To do this, open cover 1 and slide the upper part of the damper 2 out of the storage box to gain access to the rotary damper.

  3. Now dismantle the glove box. To do this, press the side walls of the box 1 towards the middle and remove it from the hinges 2.
  4. As soon as the box is hung, you can see the fan motor - pull out the connecting plug and..
  5. ... unscrew the engine (screws are indicated by arrows).


    Removing the glove box: First press the side walls 1 in the directions indicated by the arrows and then hang the hinges 2.


    Removing the fan motor: unscrew the three screws (indicated by arrows).
  6. Carry out installation in reverse order.

Accurate dosing - adjusting motors for the heating/ventilation control unit


Instead of Bowden cables in the Mondeo, the switching process in the heating/ventilation control unit is performed «sensitive working» electrical installation motors. Efficient and discreet - the air conditioning system (AC)


Since the heating system is quite cheap, it is not bad «looks» with a stock speaker: it works discreetly in the background and requires little care and maintenance for years.
