- Next, unscrew the lower screws (indicated by arrows) from the protective trim and pull the decorative cover out of the console just enough so that the cable connector is not under too much tension.

- Before pulling the switch out of the decorative cover, first insert a piece of cloth between the screwdriver and the cover. Then press the switch and disconnect the multi-pin connector.
