1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").
3. Press the retainer of the window lifter motor wiring harness connector and disconnect the connector from the motor terminals.
4. Remove the three mounting bolts…
5. …and remove the window lift motor.
6. Install the gear motor and all previously removed parts in reverse order.
Note: Apply grease to the gear motor gear before installation.
