1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the left front fender liner (see "Removal and installation wheel mudguards and fender liners").
3. Disconnect the windshield and tailgate washer hoses.
4. Squeeze the locking clip of the washer pump wiring harness connector…
5. …and disconnect the connector from the electric pump terminals.
6. Remove the upper washer reservoir mounting bolt.
7. Remove the lower washer reservoir mounting bolt.
8. Remove the tank from the bracket located on the side member…
9. …and remove the washer reservoir from the wing cavity.
10. Drain the fluid from the washer reservoir into a previously prepared container.
11. Disconnect the windshield washer hoses from the electric pump fittings…
12. …and the rear window glass.
13. Remove the electric pump.
14. Use a screwdriver to pry up the sealing sleeve of the electric pump…
15. …and remove the bushing from the hole in the tank.
Note: The sealing sleeve of the electric pump is made as one piece with the filter element.
16. If it is necessary to replace the hoses, remove them from the holders on the washer reservoir and hood and remove the hoses.
17. To replace the washer nozzle, disconnect the hose from the nozzle fitting.
18. Press the lock with a screwdriver…
19. …and remove the washer nozzle from the hole in the hood.
20. Install all previously removed parts in reverse order.
