Attention! When disconnecting the battery or removing the car radio, the security code must be re-entered.
Attention! Ten attempts to enter the security code are allowed. The number of attempts is displayed on the LCD display of the car radio.
Warning! After ten incorrect attempts to enter the code, the radio will lock and the message "LOCKEL" will appear on the LCD display. In this case, you must contact your Ford dealer.
To remove the car radio you will need special pullers.
Note: If you do not have special pullers, you can use four thin plates of suitable size.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Insert the pullers into the holes shown in the photo…
3. …and remove the car radio from the center console of the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the antenna wire connector.
5. Squeeze the latch…
6. …lift the shoe clamp…
7. …disconnect the wiring harness and remove the car radio.
8. Install the car radio in the reverse order of removal.
