Attention! Ford Fusion cars are equipped with car radios that have a security code. As a rule, during the pre-delivery preparation, the Ford dealer already enters the code.
Attention! When disconnecting the battery or removing the car radio, the security code must be re-entered.
Attention! Ten attempts to enter the security code are allowed. The number of attempts is displayed on the LCD display of the car radio.
Attention! After ten incorrect input attempts, the car radio is locked and the LCD displays the message «LOCKEL» (LOCKED). In this case, contact your Ford dealer.
To remove the car radio, you will need special pullers.
Note. In the absence of special pullers, you can use four thin plates of suitable size.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Insert the pullers into the holes indicated in the photo..
3.... and remove the car radio from the center console of the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the antenna wire block.
5. Squeeze the latch..
6.... raise the pad clamp..
7.... disconnect the wiring harness and remove the car radio.
8. Install the car radio in the reverse order of removal.
