1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the instrument panel trim (see "Removal and installation the instrument panel").
3. Use a screwdriver to pry up and press the retainer…
4. …fold back the shoe clamp…
5. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector.
6. Similarly, disconnect the remaining wire blocks from the terminals of the anti-theft system unit.
7. Remove two screws…
8. …and remove the electronic unit of the anti-theft system from under the dashboard.
9. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
