You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the upper part of the steering column cover (see "Removal and installation steering column covers").
3. Using a screwdriver, pry up the retainer (for clarity, the steering wheel has been removed)…
4. …remove the remote control.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the control panel terminal and remove the control panel.
6. Install the audio system remote control in reverse order.
