1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the instrument panel (see "Removal and installation the instrument panel").
3. Remove the windshield air ducts.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the heater fan terminal.
5. Disconnect the cable from the air supply valve.
6. Unscrew the three bolts securing the heater fan and remove the fan.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
