Removal and installation of the car radio

WARNING: The vehicle is fitted with an encoded radio. After removal and subsequent installation, it remains blocked.


To unlock there is a special code on the card attached to the car.

You will need flat and Phillips screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel (see Removing and installing floor tunnel lining).



3. Turn out two screws of the lower fastening of facing of a radio tape recorder and the control panel of system of climate control.



4. Gently pry off the left cladding plug with a screwdriver..



5….and remove it.


6. Remove the right plug in the same way.



7. Turn out on the left and on the right two screws of the upper fastening of the lining..



8.... and take it away from the instrument panel.



9. Pressing the latches, disconnect the three pads of the wiring harnesses from the switches..




10.... two blocks from the climate control system control panel and remove the lining.



11. Remove the four screws securing the car radio to the instrument panel..



NOTE: This is how the car radio mounting screws are located.




12.... and remove the car radio from the instrument panel socket.




13. On the reverse side of the car radio, disconnect the two blocks of wiring harnesses and the antenna cable and remove the car radio.



14. Install the radio and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
