1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the left front door.
3. Remove the end of the door opening seal from the door opening flange.
4. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the left decorative cover of the instrument panel…
5….and remove the lid.
6. Through the hole in the instrument panel that opens after removing the cover, press the latches of the external lighting and instrument cluster lighting control unit and push the unit out of the instrument panel socket.
NOTE: This is how the exterior lighting and instrument cluster lighting control unit clips are located.
7. Move the unit away from the instrument panel.
8. Press the wiring harness connector lock…
9….disconnect the connector from the block and remove the block.
10. Install the exterior lighting and instrument cluster lighting control unit in the reverse order of removal.
