Replacing the control unit for external lighting and instrument cluster illumination (Mondeo 4)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Open the left front door.

4. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the left decorative cover of the instrument panel…

7. Move the unit away from the instrument panel.

9….disconnect the connector from the block and remove the block.

10. Install the exterior lighting and instrument cluster lighting control unit in the reverse order of removal.
