Replacement of electric window lifter motors (Mondeo 4)

You will need a TORX T30 key.

To replace the front door window lift motor, follow these steps:.



1. Remove the front door window regulator (see Replacing the front door window regulator).



2. Remove three screws…



3….and remove the front door window lift motor.

NOTE:

Pay attention to the marking of the gear motor. For replacement, purchase a gear motor with the same marking.



4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

HELPFUL TIP: Apply grease to the gear motor gear before installation.

For replacement rear door window lifter electric drive gearmotor do the following.



1. Remove the rear door window regulator (see Replacing the rear door window regulator).



2. Remove three screws…



3….and remove the rear door window lift motor.

NOTE: Pay attention to the marking of the gear motor. For replacement, purchase a gear motor with the same marking.

4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
