A set of two high- and low-tone sound signals is mounted on a special bracket in the right front wheel arch.
If the signal becomes quieter or hoarse, you can try adjusting it.
You will need: a 10 mm wrench, a Phillips-head screwdriver, and a soldering iron.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the right front wheel arch liner (see Removing and installing wheel mudguards and fender liners).
3. Squeeze the clamps…

4….and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the common terminal of the sound signal kit.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolt…
6….and remove the sound signals.
7. To adjust, clamp the horn kit bracket in a small portable vice. Use a hot soldering iron to remove the sealing solder from the adjustment screw (shown by the arrow in the photo). Connect the wiring harness connector to the horn unit and the wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Press the horn switch (an assistant should do this) and, by turning the adjustment screw in one direction or another, achieve a loud and clear sound of the horn. If this does not work, replace the horn.
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
