Removal and installation of a sound signal

            0

A set of two high and low tone horns is mounted on a special bracket in the right front wheel arch.

If the signal began to sound quieter or wheeze, you can try to adjust it.

You will need: a 10 wrench, a Phillips screwdriver, a soldering iron.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the right front wheel liner (see Removal and installation of wheel mudguards and fender liner).

3. Squeeze the tabs..

NOTE: Shown with front bumper removed for clarity.

4.... and disconnect the wiring harness block from the common output of the horn kit.

5. Turn out a bolt of fastening …

6….and remove the beeps.

7. Clamp the Signal Kit Bracket in a small, portable vise to adjust. Use a heated soldering iron to remove the sealing solder from the adjusting screw (shown in the photo with an arrow). Connect the block of the wiring harness to the block of sound signals, and the wire to the "minus" terminal of the battery. Press the horn switch (an assistant should do it) and, turning the adjusting screw in one direction or another, achieve a loud and clear sound of the sound signal. If this fails, replace the horn.

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
