1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the steering column cover (see Removing and installing the steering column cover).
3. Remove the steering wheel (see Removing and installing the steering wheel).
4. Press up the decorative cover of the instrument cluster…
5….and remove it, overcoming the resistance of the clamps.
6. Remove the two screws securing the combination meter to the instrument panel…
7….carefully press the top edge of the combination with a screwdriver, removing it from engagement with the instrument panel…
8….and remove the combination from the socket in the instrument panel.
9. Carefully pry the retainer away from the wiring harness connector.
10. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the instrument cluster and remove it from the vehicle.
NOTE: Pay attention to the marking of the instrument cluster. For replacement, purchase a cluster with the same marking.
11. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
