Replacing the oil pressure warning light sensor

            0

The oil pressure warning light sensor is screwed into the cylinder block wall at the left front of the engine (above the oil filter).

You will need a wrench or a high "21" socket.

1. Install the car on a lift or inspection ditch and disconnect the wire from the "minus" terminal of the battery.

2. Press the latch..

3.... and disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor.

4. Turn out the gauge from the block of cylinders …

5….and remove it.

NOTE: Replace the low oil pressure warning light sensor copper sealing washer with a new one each time the sensor is removed.

6. Install the oil pressure warning light sensor in the reverse order of removal.
