Replacing the pressure sensor in the power steering system

The pressure sensor in the power steering system is screwed into the pressure line housing of the power steering pump.



You will need a key «at 13».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Disconnect from the gauge block of a plait of wires.

3. Turn out the gauge from the case of the pressure head line of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

Attention! Take measures to prevent leakage of the working fluid from the power steering system by plugging the hole in the pressure line housing, for example, with a wooden plug.

4. Install the pressure sensor in the reverse order of removal.

5. Check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir and add fluid if necessary (see «Checking the level and topping up the working fluid in the power steering reservoir»).
