Replacing the electric trunk lock switch (Fusion)

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Open the small items drawer…



3. …lift it up…



4. …and remove the box.



5. In the resulting opening, press the trunk lock electric drive switch with your hand (for clarity, this operation is shown on the removed instrument panel)..





6. …and remove the switch.



7. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the terminals of the electric trunk lock switch and remove the switch.

8. Install the trunk lock electric drive switch in the reverse order of removal.
