Replacing the control unit for exterior mirrors (Fusion)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Carefully pry up the outside mirror control unit with a screwdriver…

3. …remove it.

4. Using a screwdriver, press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the control unit terminal.

5. Install the outside mirror control unit in reverse order.
