Replacing the engine control unit

The engine management system operates on a 104 pin ignition module.

To remove the control unit:

- disconnect wire from «–» battery terminals;

- Remove the power steering reservoir;

- unscrew the screw of the large multi-pin plug and the fastening screw;

- remove the control unit.

Install in reverse order, taking into account the following:

- first hand-tighten the screw securing the multi-pin plug;

- then tighten it with a wrench.
