Clutch Position Sensor Replacement

The clutch pedal position sensor is mounted on the pedal assembly bracket and is located above the clutch pedal.



When the clutch pedal is pressed, the sensor transmits a signal to the electronic control unit. The ECU processes the received signal and improves engine performance.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Remove the retaining bracket..



3.... and disconnect the block of wires from the sensor.

Note. For clarity, further operations are shown on the removed pedal assembly.

4. Rotate the sensor counterclockwise..



5. …and remove the sensor from the mounting hole.

6. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
