When the clutch pedal is pressed, the sensor transmits a signal to the electronic control unit. The ECU processes the received signal and improves engine performance.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the retaining clip…
3. …and disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor.
Note: For clarity, further operations are shown on a removed pedal assembly.
4. Turn the sensor counterclockwise…
5. …and remove the sensor from the mounting hole.
6. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
